Ricks Fun Stuff & Lose Weigh Now Sections of the Website have been discontinued!
We had a hacker intrusion and more info is available on this below plus a link to a message for the hackers responsible. The intrusion only hurt some of the Fun Stuff pages and never entered our database and did NOT effect any private/sensitive user information or shopping etc. All is quite safe for visitors at Ricks so no visitors neeed be concerned about this in terms of their using this website or shopping here.

Due to some hacker(s) mischief in the Fun Games and the economic realities of our time I've decided to close down for the foreseeable future both sections of my website. I may reopen them someday but till then anyone interested in a healthy method of losing weight can contact me personally from my Contact Us page here on the website. I will be updating the menus and Ad links accordingly over this summer 2009; so if you click on a link that takes you to a 'Can Not be Found' message just use your browser back button to return to the previous page you were on and refrain from clicking on any Ricks Fun Stuff or Ricks Weight Loss links or Ads.

Ricks Fun Stuff Section of the Website has been cancelled!
Due to some hacker(s) penetrating some of the older scripts used in the 2500 Arcade Games and within the Fun Stuff section I am left with no choice for the for seeable future but to discontinue that section of this website. It was 3 years of work, but I do not have that kind of time to redo it again with newer more secure scripts and so it will no longer be available for my visitors fun. I am truly sorry for this but really have no alternative at this time. The remainder of the website is at present fine and I have been in contact with the support technicians of my remote hosting server where this website resides and visitors need not be overly concerned at this time with security. Also, since any financial aspects of this site are all done via secure 3rd party Carts on very secure 3rd party websites you need have no worries when checking out the various sites offerings too. I will eventually delete the Fun Stuff (now dead) links from the menus but in the mean time if you accidentally click on one of them it will take you to a 'Can Not Find Page' and then you just need to use your back button on your browser to return to where you were and refrain from clicking on any more of those now dead-links that were once the fun Stuff section of pages on my website. Ricks Website is again now Open and Ready for all visitors.

I hope these hackers will let this website alone from now on. Thanks to all of you for stopping by and I hope you still find this website useful and an enhancement to your needs. After taking 9 years of my life to both gain the learning necessary to build this website and to simultaneously actually build this website this was a real disappointment for me. Still after the recent death of my mother it seems like a trivial matter after all is said and done. This event has no comparative signifcance in those matters that are of real importance in living. Death of a significant loved one tends to put matters such as this into their proper perspective and to be quite blunt these hackers mischief simply does not matter in comparison to the real troubles and sorrows that exist within this world. Plus the world holds much that is beautiful and kind as well. So ..whatever is lovely; whatever is of good report.. I will focus my attention upon these rather than this recent intrusion and the consequence.

Welcome to Ricks Unofficial Grand Opening!
Ricks Website is now Open and Ready for all visitors. The sites new structure, cosmetic improvements and the 4 Directories are now pretty much done.  Ricks Arts Music & Literature directory currently has 100's of works now available for your reading enjoyment. Through March 2009 Ricks Arts Music & Literature directory will continue to grow with Rick adding many more works to the Archives in Classic Literature, Poetry as well as other kinds of writings for your reading pleasure. Plus, before March 2009, Ricks Music/Visuals (now with FREE Mp3s and 6 Music CDs), will be expanded to include Ricks Screensavers, Wallsavers and additional New Music for people to browse and download.

On a personal note: Anyone stopping by PLEASE Sign our guestbook and post a quick note to let me know how you like our site with all its enhancements and improvements! I really do get a thrill every time I see that another visitor to my website has signed our guestbook and reading through the message in the guestbook that you have left us really makes my day too. These past months have been very busy here at Ricks. Most of the goals for our makeover of the Website are completed or nearing completion. The sites new structure, cosmetic improvements and the 4 Directories are all done or almost done now.  Through January 2009 Ricks will be finishing up and updating the last bit of content such as Links and Articles in these 4 Directories as well as setting up Ricks Screensavers & Wallsavers for people to browse and download.

On a personal note: Anyone who happens to play EverQuest Mac or PC I'm Riecard on the Al'Kabor Server (Mac). Log on and and let me know how you like the site.

During the upcoming months we will be very busy here at Ricks. The new makeover is well on its way to being done. The sites new structure and many of the cosmetic improvements are pretty much done now.  Through out 2008 Ricks will be updating all the content such as Links and Articles within the 3 Directories, finishing up the Total Shopping Mall and setting up Ricks Screensavers.

We expect to have the Screensavers and Wallsavers sections done no later then sometime in early 2009. By or before then there will be Screensavers and Wallsavers available for downloading.
