Four assembled electronic cigarette examples.

x2

An electronic cigarette usually consists of 3 parts:
The Battery       The Atomizer        The Cartridge

x3

Each part has a specific function. The battery provides the power, the atomizer is the heating element that heats up the liquid to create the vapor and the cartridge holds the liquid that is vaporized.

hor

First Use

The manufacturer’s recommend an initial battery charge of about 8 hours. After your battery is charged, connect it to the atomizer, and then connect the atomizer to the cartridge.

Always make sure there is liquid in the cartridge. If there is no liquid in the cartridge you can burn out the cartridge filling.

Remember electronic cigarettes are different from normal cigarettes. Do not pull too hard or too fast when inhaling. If you do that, you won’t get an optimal amount of vapor and won’t have a satisfactory experience. A nice slow, strong pull is the best way to get the largest amount of vapor and best overall experience.

If you notice your battery LED light blinking while using it, it could mean one of two things. One the battery is dead or two you’ve inhaled too many times in a short period of time. Several electronic cigarettes have a built in safety mechanism where if you inhale too many times in rapid succession, it will turn the battery off for a minute or so. This is to prevent the atomizer from being damaged as well as helps protect you from ingesting too much nicotine at one time.

Once the battery is dead, place it on the charger. A normal charge time is three to four hours. Usually there is an indicator light on the charger that tells you when the battery is ready. It normally changes from one color to another.

hor

Refilling Your Cartridge

The two most common cartridge designs are with the cotton looking filling exposed and with the filling deeper inside of the cartridge.

For cartridges with the filling deeper inside: You can use a bent paperclip or some other thin object to push out a smaller internal cartridge and this will expose the cotton looking filling.

Once you have the filling exposed, you can drop e-liquid directly onto it. Let the filling soak up the liquid for a couple of seconds. Connect to your atomizer and battery and you’re done. Avoid overfilling.

hor

Maintenance

The contact points of the battery and atomizer become dirty and if too dirty the device can fail to operate or operate properly. To help prevent device failure use rubbing alcohol to clean the points where the atomizer and battery connect. You can do this with a Q-tip or paper towel. For the screw on sides the easiest way to clean it is a toothbrush.

If your e-cigarette isn't producing a lot of vapor or it’s becomes harder to pull a lot of times it’s due to the atomizer getting clogged up with liquid. Blow through the atomizer side (the side with the big opening) until you see there is no more liquid coming out. Dry everything with a paper towel.

If blowing the atomizer doesn't help: Take the filling out of a cartridge, rinse it with water and dry it (pat it dry with a paper towel). Put it back in the cartridge, and add a couple of drops of hot water to it. Smoke with the water cartridge for a couple of minutes without inhaling. If the filling turns brown, repeat the steps until clean.

If smoking water doesn't help: Put the LED side of your battery in your mouth and blow on it. Blow for a maximum of 12 seconds (to not burn out your atomizer). This will help the atomizer burn off any excess liquid.

If blowing the LED side of the battery doesn't help: Fill the big opening on the atomizer with rubbing alcohol. Cover the holes and shake for a couple of minutes. Drain the alcohol through the small hole on the battery side. Repeat this a few times. Then rinse with hot running water. Let the atomizer dry for several hours. Once your atomizer is dry you can begin to use it again.

These techniques can also be used as preventative maintenance.
Remember NEVER wet your battery.

Warning Notes on
Smoking Everywhere Electronic Cigarettes

The biggest problem with this company in my opinion is they triple or more the standard prices for their rather basic and possibly even inferior items that they are selling. A replacement atomizer bought from them costs $30.00, but from everyone else that same replacement atomizer costs $7.00 to $12.00. that is the way all their pricing is and it is outrageous.

The Smoking Everywhere 2.0 is a standard KR808 model electronic cigarette, but the Smoking Everywhere Gold (sometimes referred to as the 3.0) is a standard RN4081 model electronic cigarette.

The biggest confusion causing problems for most folks new to vapor is this re-branding or renaming of common and standard models. Often these companies/suppliers do not even list the actual model number of their branded version so it makes it difficult for the newbies to figure out what model electronic model they actually own and what model replacement parts will work with their model. It makes it totally confusing for some new vapors.

It is like all Car Dealers making up their own brand names for the Ford Mustang auto and calling and printing their own horse name and logo on the Ford Mustang autos that they are selling at their dealership with their particular favorite catchy breed of horse name and icons like Palomino, Pinto, Quarter Horse, Shetland Pony or Tennessee Walking Horse. So at one car dealership the standard Ford Mustang would be called a Palomino with that name inscribed on it and a decal of the Palomino replacing the factories Mustang logo and so on. Every distributing company having their own car named after the horse they are inclined to name it, but all of them are merely Ford Mustangs. they are just painted up with a different name and look by the Dealerships as if they are something other than the standard Mustang.

Again, the biggest problem we have is suppliers branding their name on common models. This makes it totally confusing for some folks new to vaporing.

The Smoking Everywhere Gold (or 3.0) is actually a RN4081 model electronic cigarette.

The Smoking Everywhere 2.0 is actually a KR808 model electronic cigarette.

Before buying from anyone local I suggest visiting e-cigarette-forum.com there is tons of great information, links to suppliers, as well as lots of coupon codes for discounts. Whatever you do DONT buy from your local Smoking Everywhere kiosk (in lots of malls all over the US.. way over priced for an inferior product) Local stores charge way more than you need to pay. Better to buy them online, or find a supplier in your area (there are e-cig suppliers all over the country)

Excerpts on the Smoking Everywhere Products and dissatisfaction voiced within the internet e-smokers communities. Plus some tips to make it work anyway and where to get low cost replacement parts too.

Here is a general list of many USA online retail venders to buy either standard electronic models or the premier class of electronic cigarette models This a good Listing of most of them.
